“I study hard because I want to help my family … Thrive meals give me the strength to do it.”

Meet Louie Jay and Fashiba from Dawahon Island, a small community in the Philippines accessible only by an hour-long boat ride. Life here is not easy—families live in stilt houses over the water, with limited electricity, fresh water, and food. Louie Jay and Fashiba live with multiple family members in just one room, and their families earn a living by cleaning sea urchins.

Thanks to Thrive, children like Louie Jay and Fashiba receive daily school meals that are often their first of the day. The impact is immediate: Louie Jay won first place in his first-ever swim meet, and Fashiba became her class valedictorian while placing 4th in a district-level science and technology writing contest—the first student from Dawahon ever to compete.

From Fashiba: “Thrive meals are my first meal of the day. I am so thankful to Thrive for providing healthy meals.”

From Teacher Vhinz: “Through these meals, we transform the children’s low self-esteem into achievements.”

Your gift to Thrive doesn’t just feed a child—it fuels dreams, resilience, and a brighter future.
