I’d like to donate in honor of someone. How can I do this?
To donate in someone’s honor, fill out the donation form here, and at the bottom of the form, select the box that says, “I would like this donation to be made in honor of someone.” You can then write a custom message we will email to the person you are honoring.
I’d like to give someone a donation to Thrive for their birthday. How do I do this?

Can I donate a portion of the proceeds from my business to Thrive?
We’d love it! Your business can change schoolchildren’s lives with school meals. Please contact [email protected] to learn more.
Can I donate money to a specific school or geography?
Yes! To donate to a specific geography, fill out the donation form here, and at the bottom of the form, select the box that says, “What would you like your donation to support?” and the designation.
Donations of $1,000 or more can be designated to a specific school. Please contact us if you are interested.
The most effective way to make an impact is to “Give it where we need it most” at Thrive-global.org. Your gift will be leveraged for the most urgent school feeding needs.
Can I donate from an international address or with international currency?
Of course! We welcome donations from anywhere in the world. Our online giving accepts 130+ countries. Please contact us if your country isn’t covered or if you have any issues.

Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes! Thrive-Global.org is a US registered 501(c)(3) organization. Our Tax-ID number is EIN: 46-5188138. We will provide an annual tax receipt for your records.

How do I cancel my monthly donation?

Can I get a receipt for my donation?
Yes, send a request to [email protected], and we will provide you with one. We will provide an annual tax receipt.

WHY DONATE TO THRIVE
Why donate to feed hungry schoolchildren?
Children need food. By providing daily school meals, children are more likely to show up for school and better equipped to be ready to learn. Daily nutrition, coupled with education, has a ripple effect in breaking the cycle of poverty and creating brighter futures.

Mission-driven. Thrive has provided daily school nutrition to children who need it most since 2012. We remain laser-focused on our commitment to ensuring children start their school day with a healthy meal.
Community-led. We build close ties with our partner schools and work closely with local communities to ensure we best meet the needs and stay culturally true.
Nutrition-matters. Our meal is often the only nutrition the children we serve receive all day, so we commit to ensuring it meets 50% of a child’s daily nutritional needs.

Can I raise money for Thrive? How?
Absolutely! You can raise money to transform children’s lives with school meals. To set up an online fundraiser, click here and choose “Start a Fundraiser,” and invite your colleagues, friends, and family to donate.
Here are a few ideas!
- Donate a special day like your birthday or wedding by asking for donations instead of gifts.
- Plan a run, walk, or hop!
- Host a Thrive Gathering (happy hour, game night, dinner).
- Invite your neighbors to a lemonade stand.
- Other creative ideas! We can’t wait to see what you do to feed hungry schoolchildren.

Does Thrive have an internship program?

ABOUT THRIVE
Who founded Thrive?
Thrive was founded in 2012 by three expat mothers, Gina Gabel, Regina Landor, and Priscilla Heffelfinger, who, on arrival to Bangladesh, knew they wanted to do something to help hungry children. They asked school directors in the nearby slums what they needed, and the resounding response was food. Thrive grew from the generosity and support of local and international partners.
What does Thrive do?
Thrive partners with schools to provide needy schoolchildren with daily nutrition.
How is Thrive different from feeding programs?
Thrive is unique in three ways.
- We provide daily school meals to partner schools.
- We focus on the nutritional value of the meals.
- We work closely with partner schools and the local community leadership.
Where does Thrive work?
We feed schoolchildren in Southeast Asia. We are currently feeding across Bangladesh and the Philippines.
How does Thrive select schools to feed? We have a thorough vetting process for our school selection that starts with our application form here and follows with a site visit, annual contract, and ongoing monitoring and evaluation.
How do we apply to have Thrive feed our school?
