“This nutritious food really gives improvement … not only to the community but also to the future generations.”
Meet Teacher Vhinz from Dawahon Island, a dedicated educator working in a community facing many challenges. Without electricity and relying on rainwater, children often skip school to help earn money for food. Thanks to Thrive’s program, attendance has improved, and students are now motivated to excel—not just in academics, but also in sports. Your support for Thrive is always more than just a meal!
From Teacher Vhinz:
In our place, we don’t have electricity. We drink the rainwater in our place because we don’t have any choice. The kids skip school because of poverty—they have to work to earn money for food for their families. But with the program of Thrive, our attendance improved. So many kids were motivated, and more kids started to excel in sports, but also in academics. This nutritious food really gives improvement, not only to the community but also to the future generations of our place. This has truly been a huge help. Thank you so so much for your support for Thrive.
