Every child has dreams—but hunger gets in the way. Before receiving school meals, Chloe often attended class on an empty stomach. Her grades suffered. Her energy ran low. Her hope faded.
Then, Thrive stepped in. Now, Chloe has regular meals, better grades, and a renewed passion to finish school and is achieving high honors.
When we feed children, we’re not just filling bellies—we’re fueling futures. Education, confidence, and opportunity all start with one nutritious meal.
Be a part of the solution.
Chloe: I am Chloe Jane. I am a Grade 6 student in Dawahon Integrated School. I’m 12 years old. Two years ago I started Thrive feeding. When I was in Grade 3, there was still no Thrive. I used to always just eat junk food. When I entered Grade 4, Thrive was there. I was happy that we were always full.
Teacher Vhinz: Chloe comes from a broken family that has never been an obstacle for her to work hard. Her mother is always away for work so she can provide for her children and their needs. Chloe always works after school. We see Chloe’s potential, so we included her in the Thrive feeding program. Chloe is always the teacher’s choice for competitions in mathematics, science, and social studies.
Chloe: Before I wouldn’t eat vegetables. But because of Thrive I eat vegetables, and now my body is strong. My favorite vegetables are cabbage and chayote. Because of Thrive, we don’t go hungry in school anymore. When I grow up, I want to be a teacher. I want to help children who don’t know how to read.
